The Police force of St Kitts and Nevis is working diligently to find Janelika Romney who has been missing from her home since Monday June 16. The 15 year old girl was last seen in her Verchilds High School uniform in New Guinea.

The Police force is currently investigating the disappearance of the fifteen year old girl. Police is also urging the community to come forward if they have any new details to share.

The teen has been missing for the last week and family members as well as friends are making efforts to find the girl. The authorities have shared that the investigation is ongoing. The police force has also announced a monetary reward for anyone who brings credible information about the missing teen.

The police, in their recent update have alleged that they have credible sources suggesting that Janelika Romney may have gotten in touch with someone from her family or friends. Meanwhile, the mother of the missing teen, during a tiktok live, has called on Romney to return.

The mother has urged her to establish contact with someone and inform the family that she is safe. This comes after the girl has been missing from her home for one whole week.

The mother of Janelika Romney is devastated with the disappearance of her daughter. People of the community, on Saturday, came together for a search party, to help take the ‌investigation forward.

The search party, which was joined by many people from the New Guinea community was initiated by Minister Samal Duggins. The Parliamentary representative for Constituency four has been involved in the missing person’s investigation since the onset.

Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew also extended his solidarity and support to the family of the young teen. He has confirmed that he is constantly in touch with the commissioner of police.

He is getting updates on the investigation and assured the family that they will leave no stone unturned in finding Janelika Romney.
