The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew hosted a series of meetings with several international representatives. All the meetings were hosted ahead of the country’s Independence Day.
The officials have shared that the aim of the meetings was to improve the relationship of St Kitts and Nevis with the rest of the world. The Prime Minister received these courtesy calls to the Government headquarters.
The aim of the meeting was to interact with all the international partners to discuss the future of their collaborations with the rest of the world. The nation has been working with international partners for several years to meet their development mandates.
Ahead of the nation’s 42nd Independence day, the Prime Minister welcomed Simon Mustard, High Commissioner-designate of the United Kingdom. They discussed the ways in which the two countries will take their partnership to the next levels.
The discussions focussed on matters related to security, climate and economic growth of the two regions. The Prime Minister also received the credentials from the High Commissioner Designate and welcomed him formally into the nation.
After his visit to the Prime Minister at the Government Headquarters, the Ambassador met with the other leaders of St Kitts and Nevis.
The courtesy calls were extended to Dr Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Garth Wilkin, Attorney General, and Mark Brantley, Premier of Nevis, during his visit.
The United Kingdom has shared that they are looking forward to strengthening its longstanding partnership with St Kitts and Nevis.
The High Commission of United Kingdom also extended their best wishes to St Kitts and Nevis on the occasion of their 42nd anniversary of independence. The officials have shared that they are looking forward to bringing themselves for the people of the country.
