The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, recently featured in a media interaction with St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party members. During the said meeting, Prime Minister took the opportunity to recount the administration’s accomplishments at St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party’s 91st Annual National Conference. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis is a proud member of the oldest political party in the English-speaking Caribbean.
The prime minister of St Kitts and Nevis shared that he wants his administration to keep the motto, “For the good that we can do.” at the forefront of their actions and keep themselves pursuing social justice for all. The St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party has been in power for the last nine months and have worked hard to benefit the country’s people. Accordingly, the Prime Minister took the opportunity to recount the accomplishments of the political party.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew took the opportunity to recount the initiatives of the SKNLP administration that have improved the lives of the people of St Kitts and Nevis. During the SKNLP 91st Anniversary Annual National Conference, they addressed the people of the country, supporters of the political party, that one of the first decisions they took after assuming office, they removed the restriction associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.
Dr Terrance Drew added that after opening the borders of St Kitts and Nevis after the Covid-19 pandemic to revive the country’s economy, they gave the frontline workers of the Covid-19 pandemic honorarium. This gesture of the administration follows the political party’s motto of ensuring social justice for the country’s people. The administration has assured that the country’s people can get the opportunity to be treated fairly.
Dr Terrance Drew also added that in fulfilling their promises during the election campaign, the SKNLP Administration promised to provide dividends on the proceeds from the Citizenship by Investment Programme of St Kitts and Nevis. This programme was kickstarted in December 2022.
The Prime Minister also added that they removed tuition for the students studying in the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College and promised to provide free medical assistance to the children who need urgent, lifesaving medical treatment overseas.
