Tuesday, July 26, 2022, marked the nomination day in St Kitts and Nevis. Leader of the Concerned Citizens Movement and Premier of St Kitts and Nevis, Mark Brentley, who filed his nomination from constituency 9, took to his Facebook account to share glimpses of the “Nomination Day” and garner support for the upcoming election day.
The premier of St Kitts and Nevis, Mark Brentley shared images of the nominated leaders and himself on his Facebook account. In his Facebook post, Premier Mark Brentley stated, “Nomination Day yesterday was epic.”
He expressed his gratitude to the supporters of the Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) for showing up to support the candidates at the nominations. He also thanked the supporters who showed up at the motorcade and those who showed their support by waving their shirts and flags from inside their homes as the motorcade of the Political Party passed.
In his Facebook Post, he added, “Thank you to the CCM family who joined the motorcade but also to the supporters who waved their shirts and flags from their homes as we passed.”
He added that the motorcade ended in Charlestown, where the CCM leaders had a chance to interact with their supporters and say a few words as they passed the city centre.
At the end of his Facebook update, Premier Mark Brentley said that August 5, the day of the general elections in St Kitts and Nevis, is the freedom day of St Kitts and Nevis. He humbly requested the citizens and residents of St Kitts and Nevis to vote for the Concerned Citizens Movement on the first Friday of August.
The leaders of the Concerned Citizens Movement will contest the General Election scheduled for August 5, 2022, from three constituencies, Premier Mark Brantley will contest Constituency 9, and Eric Evelyn will be the face of Constituency 10, Alexis Jeffers will contest from Constituency 11.
