The “Nevis Culturama 51” Festival will be held from July 6 to August 5, 2025. Each year this festival puts the spotlight on the diverse culture and heritage of Nevis. This year, the festival is set to take place from July 24 to August 5, 2025.

The slogan for this year is “Nevisian Pride! Second to none! Culturama 51.” The slogan was created by Onisha Hunt from Hamilton Estate. Her entry was selected from 105 submissions. Moreover, she received a cash prize of EC$500, two complimentary tickets to all events, and a commemorative plaque .

According to sources, Culturama began in 1974 to preserve Nevisian traditions. It features a variety of events including pageants, music competitions, street parades, and cultural exhibitions.

This year, the festival will include the Mr. Kool and Miss Culture Swimwear contests, the Miss Culture Queen Pageant, Soca Monarch, and Kaiso competitions. There will also be an Art and Craft Food Fair showcasing local cuisine and crafts .

Notably, the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is encouraging both locals and visitors, especially those from the diaspora, to participate in the festivities. The festival not only celebrates the island’s culture but also boosts tourism and supports local businesses.
