Minister of Creative Economy Samal Duggins applauded and congratulated Kaitlynn Wilson on Monday, January 6, 2025, after her victory at the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant 2024.

A brief ceremony was held at the Ministry’s Conference Room which was attended by Minister Samal Duggins, Delrine Taylor (Permanent Secretary of the Creative Economy), Shannon Hawley (Chair of St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC)), Clement O’ Garro (Director of Carnival) and Members of Kaitlynn Wilson’s team and her family members.

Minister Duggins said that he was very honoured and proud to celebrate the 16 year old Wilson’s accomplishment at the ceremony.

He stated that the teen girl has made them all proud, first with her victory at the local 2023 Miss Teen St Kitts and Nevis Pageant and now her win at the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant.

Minister Samal Duggins also appreciated Kaitlynn Wilson’s team for helping her achieve multiple victories at such a young age, along with St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC) for organizing events where people can show their talents.

Kaitlynn Wilson expressed that she was very happy to win both the pageants, and also thanked her fans who came to the pageant in Tortola to support her and also thanked her team and Minister Duggins for their continuous support.

Haynes Smith Pageant

Kaitlynn Wilson emerged as the winner at the 42nd Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant 2024 that took place on Sunday, December 29, 2024 in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.

Thirteen teens from different parts of Caribbean participated in the pageant, showing their creativity, intelligence, and unique talents to win the crown.

The teens competed against each other in 3 different rounds – Interview, Theatrical Performance, and Evening Wear.
