Minister of Sports and Creative Economy, Samal Duggins stated that Sugar Mas is not just a carnival, but is a showcase of culture, creativity, and unity. Acknowledging the key contributors Minister stated that it is because of the team that the island nation could enjoy and put up a 6-week long carnival that celebrates culture and tradition.
He shared a post on his Facebook page stating Sugar Mas 53 was a great success because of the dedication of all the individuals and teams that worked hard behind the scenes.
St Kitts and Nevis national carnival Sugar Mas 53 finally came to its end after six weeks of celebrating culture and tradition with Last Lap taking place on January 2, 2025.
Minister Samal Duggins appreciated everyone who made Sugar Mas successful, “Your efforts did not go unnoticed, and we could not have done this without you.”
He further added that with the support and contributions of the people of the twin island nation, he hopes to make Sugar Mas 54 an even better celebration and greater success.
