St. Kitts and Nevis: Marsha Henderson, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, and Urban Development, visited the Irish Town Primary School to celebrate their impressive success in the St. Kitts Department of Sports Primary School Netball League.

The Irish Town Primary School is a part of her Constituency, Constituency 2. Marsha congratulated the children on their successful participation in the St. Kitts Netball League.

The celebration took place on June 13, 2024, at the Irish Town Primary School.

Marsha Henderson, through her social media, highlighted the achievements of the children and shared glimpses of presenting tokens to them.

“It was wonderful to present tokens of appreciation and share some encouraging words with the team,” the Minister of Tourism et al. expressed joyfully.

The school’s netball team comprised of dedicated young athletes and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

The children will be sporting brand-new uniforms as they move forward to the next stage of the tournament, shared Marsha Henderson with excitement while sharing her words of motivation.

This initiative gesture serves as a morale booster for the athletes and reflects the collective commitment to empowering young talents within the community.

She also stated that this initiative will not only lift the morale of the team but also highlight the government’s commitment to supporting young athletes and sports in the community.

The Netball League has reached its quarter-final stage. Eight teams will be battling against each other to carve a spot for themselves in the semi-finals.
