The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, travelled to the United States to promote the Product of Nevis as an island fit for shooting commercial and feature films. During his trip, the Premier of Nevis was accompanied by his wife, Sharon Brantley. The Premier believes that creating the film industry on the island will give the economy of Nevis a significant boost.
The Premier is accordingly meeting and interacting with the stakeholders of the international entertainment industry. He took to his social media to share the update on his trip. Premier Brantley wrote that as they continue to promote Nevis as a destination for film, Premier Mark Brantley was a special audience guest of The View on ABC on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
He asserted that his time in New York is spent promoting what our beautiful island offers. Premier Mark Brantley handles the responsibility for the ministries of Finance, Statistics, Economic Planning, Human Resources, Industry, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Tourism, Public Utilities and Energy, Foreign Investments, Government Information Service and Nevis Television.
The Premier is committed to the cause of developing the island to the best of their capabilities. The Premier is working to create a special place for Nevis on the world map. He also shared his experience being the audience at The View on ABC. He extended his sincere gratitude to the former producer of The View, Candi Carter.
He termed Carter a genuine friend of Nevis who made their attendance of the show, The View, possible. He shared that it was great to interact with the audience and let them know more about Nevis. Premier Mark Brantley shared that the people of the US were especially surprised to hear that it was the birthplace of the guy on the US $10 bill, Alexander Hamilton.
