Super Bowl Cornerback of the Kansas City Chiefs, who was a part of the winning team in the Superbowl season, Joshua Williams, is visiting St Kitts and Nevis after the conclusion of the 2022-23 season. The twin island federation is the native land of his father. The player of the National Football League in the US is the son of George Williams, who was a former resident of Molineux.

Joshua Williams arrived in St Kitts and Nevis on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He arrived at the Robert L Bradshaw, where he was greeted at the KayanJet Private Lounge by a high-level local delegation. The welcome party of the NFL star includes the Prime Minister of the country, Dr Terrance Drew, Deputy prime Minister Dr Geoffrey Hanley, and Ambassador Kenneth Douglas.

Notably, During Weeks 4 and 5 of the 2022-23 NFL Season, Williams, who was among the more than 200 players, coaches and executives across the league, were allowed to represent their nationality or cultural heritage. During the sporting event, he wore a decal on his helmet of the National Flag of St Kitts and Nevis Williams. The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57 on February 12, 2023.

The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley shared some glimpses of this meeting on his social media account.
