The JNF Hospital in Basseterre, St Kitts has achieved a significant milestone for the healthcare sector by appointing the most specialists ever in its history.
This increase in the number of specialists at the hospital shows the government’s efforts in ensuring better healthcare services for the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.
Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew shared an update on his Facebook page stating, “Health is on its way, despite the challenges, as progress continues to ensure better healthcare for all of our people.”
As the healthcare sector continues to develop, the JNF General Hospital continues to provide quality care and specialist services to the people of St Kitts and Nevis.
Specialists at the JNF Hospital
- Neurologist – Brain and nerve specialist treating conditions affecting brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles.
- Endocrinologist – A specialist who treats conditions related to the endocrine system like hormones, and blood sugar.
- Urologist – A medical doctor specialized in treating conditions affecting the urinary tract and reproductive system.
- Nephrologist – Specialist in treating kidney issues.
- Radiologist – Treat medical injuries and diseases using imaging techniques like X – rays, CT Scans, MRIs, and Ultrasound.
