St Kitts and Nevis: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew visited Mary Charles Hospital in Molineux and reviewed all the improvements the hospital had made.
The PM stated that the government has taken huge initiatives to reopen the pharmacy. A new pharmacist named Bryann Tillette from Belize has been contracted. The pharmacy will provide services on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Reportedly, Dr Drew added that this re-opening of the pharmacy would offer much-needed services to community residents.
Further, PM Drew stated, “We actually want to expand the service, not just to a service that will be twice a week, but we are seeking to see how we can get that service to be five days per week so that our citizens and residents in that area can have access to pharmacy services.”
He said,”Today I conducted a walkthrough at Mary Charles Hospital in Molineux, where we’ve just completed some essential remedial work to address long-standing issues. It’s truly heartening to see the improvements firsthand.”
During his visit, PM Terrance Drew explored the newly reopened Pharmacy, which officially welcomed the public on Monday, March 18th. Led by the experienced Pharmacist Bryann Tillette from Belize, the pharmacy is now open to serve you on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
“We’re committed to improving healthcare services for our community, and the reopening of the pharmacy marks another step forward in that mission. Your health and well-being are our top priorities,”said the prime minister.
The Ministry of Health announced the reponing of the pharmacy and said that it will provide better and quality health care services to the residents of the community on the time. The government also planned to work of the digitization of the work on the pharmacy and said that this would enhance modern techniques in the health sector.
PM Drew updated about Mary Charles Hospital on his official facebook account , to that netizens stated that PM is doing a great work and he should continue doing what is best for his people.
