The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley, has taken to his social media account to commemorate the 90th anniversary of his political party. He shared some glimpses of the thanksgiving service that was held in commemoration of the 90th anniversary of the political party.
Along with the glimpses he shared on the social media post, Dr Geoffrey Hanley wrote: Today, Sunday, January 22, 2023, our nation witnessed the 90th-anniversary celebration of the St Kitts Nevis Labour Party.
He noted that the comrades (of the political party) came out in their numbers to celebrate in grand style. 90 years is a significant milestone to achieve, not only for the SKNLP but for the citizens of our nation who have seen our party evolve, growing from strength to strength through every decade of its existence.
Dr Geoffrey Hanley pointed out in the social media post that out of those years, we have conquered, been tested, and risen from the ashes. But through it all, we have survived.
He expressed on behalf of the political party that We are grateful to God for His continued blessings over the SKNLP. In line with the commitment, he further noted that We are ever more committed to continuing our work in the Laborers vineyard “for the good that we can do.”
Geoffrey hanley also extended his greetings to the people and partners of the political party with the words:
Happy 90th to our great party that holds the reins of power and persuasion in this great nation. Blessings,
St Kitts and Nevis Labour party is celebrating ninety years of service to the people of St Kitts and Nevis. The political party currently in power with a majority in St Kitts and Nevis is the oldest running political party of the federation. SKNLP Came into existence in the year 1932.
In celebration of this feat, the leaders of the SKNLP organized a thanksgiving service commemorating the 90 years of service of the political party. Several supporters of the political party attended the service.
