St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party, the oldest functional political Party in St Kitts and Nevis, is completing ninety years of service for the people. The currently serving leader of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party has extended an invitation to the people of St Kitts and Nevis to attend the thanksgiving service hosted on January 22, 2023. The thanksgiving service will mark the celebration of 90 years of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party.
St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) was founded in 1932. At the time, the political Party was known as the St Kitts Workers’ League. St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party is the only political institution in St Kitts and Nevis to retain its majority in the political scenario of St Kitts and Nevis. They are the only political Party with two prime Ministers in office since its independence.
St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) will host the thanksgiving services at the Antioch Baptist Church at 4:00 PM in Lime Kiln, West Basseterre. The political Party will complete 90 years of service in the federation on January 25, 2023.
Leaders of the SKNLP have extended an invitation to the people of St Kitts and Nevis to attend the thanksgiving services. The official page of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party wrote, Join the SKNLP this Sunday, January 22, at the Antioch Baptist Church to celebrate the Party’s ninetieth year.
The former political party leader, Dr Denzil Douglas, took to his social media account to talk about the political Party’s history. He wrote:
The St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party was founded in 1932 and is the longest-serving political Party in the English-speaking Caribbean. He applauded and saluted all the Founders and Stalwarts of the Great St Kitts Nevis Labour Party. These include the leaders who have gone on to their rest and those of us who continue to serve and stand firm with the Party for all the People.
