The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley travelled to Grenada to attend the 2023 edition of the National Democratic Congress of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique Convention on Sunday, March 5, 2023. The Deputy Prime Minister was in Grenada as the guest speaker at the convention. He took to his social media account to share an update on the excursion.
Deputy Prime Minister Dr Geoffrey Hanley shared some glimpses into the event on his social media account. While providing an account of his experience, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education in the government of St Kitts and Nevis wrote that he was honoured to be invited to share a few words at the event.
Dr Hanley interacted with the attendants of the National Democratic Congress Convention, including the political party members and the supporters, during the event. He also addressed the rally that took place after the convention. Both events were scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 5, 2023. The convention started at 9:00 AM while the Mini Rally started at 4:00 PM. The NDC hosted the convention under the theme, “Transforming NDC, Transforming Grenada”.
The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis was received warmly by the members of the National Democratic Congress and other locals of Grenada. He shared several images of posing with people on his social media. Accordingly, Dr Geoffrey Hanley detailed that he will always remember the warm welcome and hospitality he received from the people of Grenada.
Further, Dr Geoffrey Hanley pledged to continue supporting our brothers and sisters throughout the region and map a path to true democratic leadership.
