The Government of Trinidad and Tobago denies from the statement made by the rapper Nicki Minaj who is US-based Trinidad-born. She said that someone in Trinidad and Tobago had become impotent, and testicles had swollen after getting shot of COVID-19 vaccine. Due to which his fiancee cancelled their wedding.
While speaking during the conference, Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh totally refused the statement made by Minaj. Minister added that the medical teams had investigated the case on Tuesday by giving their valuable time.
Deyalsingh said, “One of the reasons we could not respond …in real-time to Nicki Minaj is that we had to check and make sure that what she was claiming was either true or false. We did, and unfortunately, we wasted so much time yesterday running down this false claim. As far as we know, at this point in time, there has been no such reported side effect or adverse event.”
Minister Deyalsingh said that this fake claim had wasted his time along with his team. On Tuesday, his team was trying to investigate this type of case across the island.
Minister reported that they take the claims seriously no matter they are on social media or mainstream media. After investigating, he was fully confident that there is no such case reported related to the side effect of the vaccination and swollen testicles. He doesn’t know if there is such a case in any other country.
On her Twitter account, Nicki Minaj tweeted that his brother in Trinidad and Tobago had not got his vaccination till now as his friend became impotent after his vaccination. His testicles also swelled, and her fiancee also cancelled their wedding due to problem.
Minaj stated that she was also recently infected with the COVID-19 virus, and she was having the same symptoms as the people who were immunized. She said rapper Drake had also contracted the virus despite being vaccinated.
While answering to the question by the fan that was about her absence at the Met Gala that was held on Monday, she said that there was a vaccine requirement to attend but said if she got vaccinated, it would not be for the Met Gala, but when she felt like she had done enough research. She said she would also not risk her baby son’s health to be seen.
