Caribbean Airlines have shared an update regarding their flights related to Havana. The flights from Havana will be disrupted due to Hurricane “IAN”. The airlines have also shared the schedule of the flights. 

The flights of the airline will be disrupted as follows: 

  1. The flights named BW 476 AND BW 477 OF SEPTEMBER 27, 2022:
  2. Flight- BW 476 with the route of POS/HAV has been cancelled. 
  3. Flight- BW 477 with the route of HAV/POS has been cancelled. 

RE-ACCOMMODATION FLIGHTS WILL OPERATE ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2022, In the following Manner (ALL TIMES LOCAL):

  • BW 3476 flight dated September 29, 2022, will be flying from the route Trinidad/ Havana. The flight’s departure time will be 10: 30 am and the arrival time will be 2: 35 pm. 
  • BW 3477, dated September 29, 2022, will be flying from the route of Havana/Trinidad. The flight departure will be at 3:45 pm, and the arrival time will be 7: 35 pm. 

BW 3477 will continue POS TO GEO in order to accommodate connecting passengers to Georgetown, Guyana; along with an additional return service as follows: 

  • FLIGHT BW 3477, with September 29, 2022, will fly from the Trinidad/Guyana route. The flight’s departure time is 8: 34 pm, and the arrival time is 9:45 pm. 
  • Flight BW 7463 on September 29, 2022, will be flown from Guyana/Trinidad route. The departure time is 10: 45 pm and the arrival time is 11: 55 pm. 

The airline has also approached the affected passengers, and the re-accommodation is in progress. The Caribbean airline has also encouraged the passengers to register for the flights with the true times and schedule, which is why the notification was issued via their official website. 

They also stated that the customers could check a flight’s status by route or flight number using the FLIGHT STATUS tab on the Caribbean Airlines homepage on www.caribbean-airlines.com.
