An investigation is underway in Dominica after the discovery of a body on Castle Street.
Police have said that the body of Cerilo Alwin Raffique Chance was found inside the property on the morning of September 12.
Sources have said a “disgusting stench” alerted neighbours to the problem, followed up by police.
“The body was examined and officially pronounced dead by a medical doctor,” the police press relations officer has said.
Police have confirmed Mr. Chance was 39 years old.
An inquest into the circumstances surrounding Mr. Chance’s death will take place.
