The contestants of the Republic Bank Miss Teen St. Kitts & Nevis Pageant who are preparing for their participation in the national pageant took the initiative to extend their support to the people of the community, especially the groups who are most vulnerable.
Over the weekend, the participants of The Miss Teen St Kitts and Nevis Pageant joined the WeCare HomeCare Services. The officials have shared that the participants delivered care packages to the elderly residents across Basseterre.
The officials have shared that this is a part of the community initiative where the teens of the country wanted to make sure that they can spread joy and kindness to the people of the country.
St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee shared some images from the initiative which took place over the previous weekend. The teenagers who are participating in the Republic Bank Miss Teen St. Kitts & Nevis Pageant accompanied a team from the SKNNCC and chaperones to get the care packages to the elderly.
The participants of Republic Bank Miss Teen St. Kitts & Nevis Pageant visited the elderly people every year. The participants, eight girls from across the various communities of St Kitts took the initiative to interact with the elders.
The officials have shared that these girls are the Ambassadors of the carnival season. Their initiative to spread kindness among the elders of the country was proof of what real leadership is.
The elders also gave the girls a very warm welcome into their home care services and wished them well for the competition which will be hosted next month.
