St Kitts Tourism Authority has been engaged in promoting their destination at the international stage. The nation was represented at the Seatrade Global 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Centre in Miami.
The event was attended by several local stakeholders and representatives from the tourism sectors from across the region. During the event, several local stakeholders took the platform and held targeted meetings with shore excursion representatives from multiple cruise lines.
The meetings helped the attending stakeholders to enrich and diversify the on-island guest experience. St Kitts Tourism stakeholders also attended the event and they were led by the Minister of Tourism Marsha Henderson. A team of officers from the Ministry were also in attendance at the event.
They talked to the various stakeholders and spoke about their mandate to expanding commercial opportunities, deepening cruise line relationships, and positioning St. Kitts for increased future deployment.
St Kitts Tourism shared their experience at the Seatrade Global 2026 where they participated in industry workshops. The team had the opportunity to examine the geopolitical challenges, evolving destination strategies They also learned about the critical role of host community engagement in sustaining long-term cruise partnership.
The St Kitts Tourism Authority shared that during the conference they had a moment which served as the confirmation that St. Kitts will feature on the Caribbean itinerary of the repositioned MSC World Europa. This development was a significant win for the destination’s cruise portfolio.
At the event, the tourism minister Henderson was joined by Adeola Moore, CEO of St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA); Kayrecia Nero, CEO of St. Kitts Urban Development Corporation (SKUDC); and Melnecia Marshall, Deputy CEO of the St. Kitts Tourism Authority.
