28th St. Kitts Music Festival set to Boost Summer Tourism

St Kitts saw the conclusion of their three day musical extravaganza, St Kitts Music Festival on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The event, which was hosted in Warner Park Cricket Stadium, brought thousands of patrons to the shores of the island as the month of June concluded.

The Music festival is one of the most popular summer events for the island of St Kitts and Nevis. The organizers of the St Kitts Music Festival brings a number of artists from across the Caribbean region and the rest of the world.

The three day event, which was hosted in Basseterre saw a number of artists performing at their best for their fans. Thousands of patrons crowded the stadium and other spots across Basseterre to see their favorite artists perform.

The officials have shared that the music festival was much more than a music festival. It was an unforgettable experience for all the attendants. All three days of the festival featured performances of different genres.

The jump up night of the event saw performances in local genres of Soca and Calypso, Bouyon and more. The first day saw performances by local bands of St Kitts and Nevis, One of the most touching parts of the jump up night was the tribute to Elston “King Ellie Matt” Nero. 

The members of his old band, De Gl’s Brass and some local artists performed the tribute. The members of the Kollision Band also paid their tribute to the Jermaine “Chubby” Clark. Another highlight of the first day of the event was the performance by Machel Montano.

The second night of the Music Festival was marked by performances by Dancehall artists, Mavado, Aidonia, Kranium, and Masicka. The

The final night of the three day extravaganza was dominated by Grammy Winning artists including Kehlani, who headlined night three. The night was dedicated to R&B, Afrobeats, Pop and Hip Hop. The event closed on a high with a performance from Beres Hammond and Tarrus Riley. The fans of both the artists were moved by their performances as both the artists recalled some of their best years.

In addition to being one of the most eagerly anticipated summer events of the year, St Kitts Music Festival also brings significant economic development to the island. The officials have shared that the festival continues to bring increased numbers of tourists arrivals to the island.
