The Prime Minister’s Children’s Medical Fund is supporting the treatment of another four year old child who needs overseas treatment. The child, 4 year old Dujon has been flown to the Cayman Islands for his treatment. He will be receiving his treatment at the Health City Hospital in the Cayman Islands.
The officials have shared that the treatment for the four year old child is being funded with the help of the Prime Minister’s Children’s Medical Fund, Pediatric Assistance League of St. Kitts and Nevis (PALS) and other donors.
The Pediatric Assistance League of St. Kitts and Nevis (PALS) has extended their gratitude to the members of the community who made donations to the people of the island. The child has been taken to the hospital using an air ambulance and he is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
The support is part of the government’s mandate to support the children of the country as they get the lifesaving medical treatments that they need. The Prime Minister, at the time of announcing the Children’s Medical Fund, had confirmed that he wants to support vulnerable families as they give theirr children the medical support that they need.
The officials have shared that the children have been working with the members of the community in the working with the members of the community for the people of the island.
