The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew extended best wishes to Dr Denzil Douglas on his birthday. The Prime Minister and the members of the Federal cabinet celebrated the Senior Minister’s birthday with him.
The celebration brought along cake and cheer with the members of the cabinet, including Prime Minister Drew, Deputy Prime Minister Hanley and other members of the government, Ministers and Ambassadors celebrating the 2nd Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis.
The Prime Minister took to his social media to extend the best wishes to Dr Douglas. In his message, he shed light on the former Prime Minister’s Legacy. The current Minister of Foreign Affairs is the senior most member of the SKNLP administration and has been a part of the government structure for nearly four decades.
As Former Prime Minister, Dr Douglas served St Kitts and Nevis for two decades, making him the longest serving politician to hold the office of the Prime Minister in the history of the island nation. The Minister has also served as the Member of the Parliament from the Constituency 6.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis also noted that Dr Douglas has served the people of St Kitts and Nevis for decades. Dr Drew added that the senior Minister has also served as a counsel and guide to him.
The Prime Minister also added that he values his connection and friendship with Dr Douglas while wishing for good health and prosperity for the Minister of Foreign Affairs as he celebrated his birthday. On the occasion of his birthday, the people of St Kitts and Nevis, including the members of the public and the members of the media took to their social media account to extend their best wishes.
