Government Moves to Protect Children with Strict Cannabis Regulations, PM Drew and AG Wilkin Outline Safeguards

Dr Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis has extended his best wishes to the children who are getting ready to appear in the examinations in the upcoming few weeks. Thousands of students from Primary, Secondary Schools and college in St Kitts and Nevis are poised to appear for, or are appearing for overseas promotional exams. They will be moving on to the next step in their education.

The Prime Minister extended his best wishes to the students through social media on May 5, 2026. According to the education stakeholders, thousands of primary, secondary and college students in St.Kitts and prepare or have begun to write promotion overseas examinations.

In light of the exam season, the Prime Minister has urged the students to give their full effort to be successful. The Prime Minister urged the people of the island to take their exams seriously and make their families and loved ones proud. He has shared that it is important for the students to partake in their tests and exams with focus and discipline. 

The students across St kitts and Nevis will be taking their CXC, CAPE, and promotional exams. At this time, several nationals have also extended their best wishes to the students and urged them to keep calm. 

The Prime Minister said that this is the time when all the preparation and work that the students have done will come into use. He said that the students must give each of their exam their full effort, remain steady, and believe in your ability,” said Dr. Drew.

He wished each student “clarity of mind, calmness, and every success as you move through this examination period.” The people of St Kitts and Nevis have shared that they have hope of the
