Nevis is all set to welcome the summer season with the Nevis Mango Festival which will take place from 2 to 5 July 2026. This year’s festival marks the 12th annual Nevis Mango Festival. The dates of the festival were shared during the official press launch for the event which was hosted on April 24, 2026.
The Chef Eric Adjepong has been chosen as the Culinary Ambassador for the 2026 Nevis Mango Festival. Adjepong talked about his excitement to attend the event as an ambassador during the launch event. He said, “Being named Culinary ambassador for the 2026 Nevis Mango Festival is a true honor. I’m Looking forward to hosting an evening of mango-inspired cooking, leading a demonstration, and taking part in the judging during the festival”.
In the press launch Andria Varrier, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority mentioned the positive outcomes of the festival. She also stated the festival provides support to island farmers, restaurants, hotels, artisans, and small businesses and she believes the festival will strengthen tourism and agriculture together.
John Hanley, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism shared that the Nevis government will offer support to the festival organisers. He said festivals like these help the island as a travel destination.
The Mango enthusiasts and tourists who attend the 2026 Nevis Mango Festival will have the opportunity to experience 44 varieties of Mangoes. They will taste not only varieties of mango, but also how the fruit is used in various foods and Caribbean cuisine. The people will also experience the culture and warm hospitality of the Nevisian people.
In the four days event tourists can enjoy intellectual activities including cooking masterclasses, Mango Mania family, Nevis Goes Mango, Penny’s Beach Bar Craw, Passport Food Tour and the last day will conclude with “For the Love Of Mangoes,” which will see participation from more than 60 chefs.
Line up for the festival:
On Thursday, 2 July, Mango Festival Opening Event will take place and chef Eric Adjepong will officially kick off the festival. The opening event will be held at Malcolm Guishard Recreational Park. The entry in this event will be free and open to everyone.
On the same day Nevis Goes Mango and Supper Club will be organised.
On Friday, 3 July Cooking Masterclass, Mango Mania and Pinny’s Beach Bar Crawl events will take place. On Saturday, 4 July Passport Food Tour event will provide the opportunity of a true taste of the island along with stamps collection.
On Sunday, 5 July the festival concludes with the Love of Mangoes, the signature event of the Mango Festival. Additionally, event organisers also encouraged the tourists to arrive early on the island to enjoy the festival fully. Tickets for the festival are now available for the tourists.
