A 52-year-old Canadian woman has been reportedly killed in Cuba, and the Cuban Police have arrested partner of deceased Nathalie Fraser.
Nathalie Fraser, 52, had been spending winter in Matanzas, near Varadero with her male partner. Nathalie’s family members told the officials that they had not heard from here since January 18th 2020 and were informed by the police a week ago.
Her family stated Fraser had been staying at her boyfriend’s home in Matanzas, 50 kilometres west of Varadero, since December and had planned on spending the winter there.
Interpol communicated to the Quebec provincial police to inform them of Fraser’s death. Cuban police are reviewing the case and have released some details.
A spokesperson for Global Affairs Canada, Barbara Harvey, stated that consular officials are in touch with Cuban officials to accumulate further knowledge.
