Park Hyatt St Kitts and Nevis has announced Temporary Closure for preparations of the tourism season in the country. The officials have shared that the closure is part of the Park Hyatt’s annual calendar.
The officials have shared that the closure is temporary and crucial for the maintenance of high standards of the establishment’s customer service. The decision has been made as a reset for the staff and management of the community.
The officials from Park Hyatt have announced that the temporary suspension of operations will start from August 28 through October 9, 2026. The official statement shared by the organisation suggests that the luxury resort is closing operations to prepare for the upcoming high density season.
The tourism season for St Kitts and Nevis starts somewhere in October and runs through half the year. During these months, the island welcomes hundreds of thousands of travellers to the island for stayovers and one day visits.
The tourism season is one of the most profitable seasons for the economy of St Kitts and Nevis. The preparation will especially improve the travellers experience of staying on the island and exploring the island.
The statement from the resort has announced that they will resume full operations on October 10. The officials have further said that the travellers cannot make reservations for the duration that the establishment is under closure.
According to the official statement, “During the closure, guest accommodations, dining venues, spa services and day-pass access will be unavailable.
The management has further clarified that the property will continue to accept reservations for stays, dining, spa treatments and day passes through August 27, ahead of the temporary shutdown.
