Nevis is taking major active steps towards improving air connectivity and regional partnerships to strengthen the island’s tourism growth. The Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is working efficiently on making Nevis a popular and preferred the travel destination across the  Caribbean.

Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley recently attended the “Saveurs Caraibes” event in St Barths, where he led a delegation and promoted Nevis tourism products. At the event, the Premier and his team introduced Nevis local food, mangoes, music and culture and the Odisi Band to St. Barths public. The event in the French region helped the Nevis to boost their place in experiential tourism markets.

He even expressed his gratitude to the entire team of St Barths tourism for organizing a wonderful tourism based event and appreciated the efforts of the Nevis Tourism Authority CEO and her team. He said, “I extend my thanks to my dear friend Alexander Questel and her entire team of St. Barth Tourism and also to CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority Andia Ravariere and her team for a very successful engagement.

Moreover, the Nevis Island Administration (NIA) is working on strengthening tourism ties with Saint Barthelemy, a move which is also expected to place the Nevis in a high value tourism market. This year in February Nevis Tourism Authority had a discussion with the stakeholders  and travellers of Bermuda to boost the partnership between both the islands They also marketed their island to increase the number of tourism arrivals on the island during the summer months.

During their visit to Bermuda, NTA also held an engagement with members of the St. Kitts and Nevis diaspora and promoted the Nevis major tourism driving events including the Nevis Mango Festival, the Nevis Culturama Festival and the St Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week.
