Former Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and Member of Parliament for Constituency 7, Dr Timothy Harris, has congratulated PM Gaston Browne for his reelection into the office of the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda. The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party led by PM Brown has been sworn into the office for the fourth consecutive time.
The elections which led to this landmark victory of the ABLP concluded on Thursday, April 30 2026 and ended in a landslide victory for the PM Gaston Brown and his team. The political party, which was previously in office with 9 of the 17 seats of the nation’s National Assembly was able to snatch a landslide victory in the 2026 snap elections.
Taking to his social, the Political Leader of the People’s Labour Party, Dr Timothy Harris congratulated the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party for their success in the recent elections.
He said, I extend warmest congratulations to Prime Minister Gaston Browne on his historic re-election to a fourth consecutive term as Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda.
According to the PLP leader, this achievement highlights the fact that people of Antigua and Barbuda continue to have confidence in the Leadership of Gaston Brown and his team. Dr Harris believes that under the continued leadership of Gaston Browne, Antigua and Barbuda will advance even further along the path of progress, economic growth, and national development.
He also expressed hope for strengthened collaboration, deeper regional integration, and continued partnership between St Kitts and Nevis and Antigua and Barbuda. The political leader has shared that he is looking forward to opportunities to work together with the Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda as they collectively work on the mandate of developing the Caribbean Region.
