The Resident Ambassador of St Kitts and Nevis in the Republic of China (Taiwan), Donya L. Francis has given certificates of participation to eighteen persons from St Kitts and Nevis, CARICOM nations and some African nations. These eighteen individuals participated in a session entitled: “Where Did My Money Go?” Budgeting Workshop 2026.

The workshop was hosted on Saturday April 18 and organised by the Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis to the Republic of China (Taiwan). For this event, the embassy partnered with the KGC Inc. of Kivision Group.

The aim of the workshop was to help the youngsters who participated in the initiative to assist young people in managing their finances as they study in Taiwan.

The officials and organisers from the the Embassy of St Kitts and Nevis confirmed that the participants come from among the nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis who were studying in Taiwan and friends from other CARICOM and African countries.

The participants were given certificates of completion after a morning workshop on finance and budgeting.

“Your presence reflects a strong commitment to personal growth and financial responsibility, both of which are essential as you navigate life and studies here in Taiwan,” said Ambassador Francis.

Ambassador Francis asserted that the finance management workshop falls in line with the vision of the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis to inspire financial literacy among youngsters. The ambassador said that the government is already working on these mandates through initiatives such as the ASPIRE Programme.

Notably, the programme seeks to empower the young people through education, skills development, and opportunity.

“Financial literacy is a key part of that empowerment, ensuring that you are not only academically prepared, but also equipped to make sound financial decisions for your future,” said Ambassador Francis.

The Embassy has extended their gratitude to the KGC Inc. for their continued support and partnerships.
