ASPIRE Youth Ambassadors from all over the island visited the primary schools of St Kitts and Nevis to celebrate World Read Aloud Day. The visit to the primary schools took place on February 4, 2026.
The youngsters associated with the ASPIRE programme came together to spread the word about reading. As a part of this international commemoration, the children from different parts of St Kitts took time to spread the joy of reading.
The World Read Aloud day is celebrated every year on the first Wednesday of February and serves to promote literacy. The officials have shared that the day helps in making the youngsters develop an interest in reading and fosters a love for learning.
