St kitts and Nevis welcomed six cruise ships to the island on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The island saw the arrival of more than 5,650 passengers on the island. With six ships on call, thursday was a very important day for the St Kitts and Nevis cruise stakeholders.
The small businesses, taxi operators. Restaurant owners and other business owners had the opportunity to cater to more than 5,000 passengers who came on the island to experience it for all it has to offer
The officials have shared that the people who came on ground explored the small businesses, shopped for local arts and crafts, experienced the food and other delights. The people were able to see the various beautiful sights across the island, visit popular spots like the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, The Black Rocks, beaches and more.
Still more people took island tours with tour guides and saw the beauty of the island for themselves. As one of the busiest day in the week in terms of cruise arrivals, Port Zante was full of people.
Three of the six cruise ships which arrived on island on Thursday docked at Port Zante while the remaining three anchored off the coastline of the island. The cruise ships which lowered their anchor along the coastline of the island included, The underwater lounge, Le Bougainville. The ship is known to target small port destinations, The five-deck Sea Cloud II, The sailing yacht Wind Star.
All three ships were carrying 152, 87 and 134 passengers respectively as they sailed into St Kitts. The other three ships which docked at St Kitts included Grand Princess, Norwegian Sky and Silver Ray. The ships sailed into the island with 2,655; 1,955 and 676 cruise passengers respectively.
The people of the island have been seeing a significant increase in the number of cruise ships arriving on the island. They have seen that the island has been welcoming a healthy amount of cruise passengers to the island as they see the growth in the St Kitts and Nevis tourism sector of the country.
