Samal Dugguins, who is the Minister responsible for the creative economy of St Kitts and Nevis has applauded Janelle Williams of JaHair Salon. She was part of the St Kitts and Nevis Delegation which is representing the country at the CARIFESTA XV in Barbados.

She has won the first-ever Hair Innovators Challenge which was hosted as a part of the CARIFESTA event. At the same but also captured 1st Runner-Up in the Hair Competition which was hosted at the same event.

The whole nation is proud of the national hairdresser for the achievements that she has recorded in Barbados. Minister Samal Duggins also shared some images from the CARIFESTA event saying that he was proud of Janelle Williams for her work.

The images showed the creativity of the hairdresser who had styled her clients in several unique ways. Her creation at the CARIFESTA featured national pride as the hair featured the colors of St Kitts and Nevis.

Several social media users have also appreciated the work that was put in by the hairdresser for the event. The officials have shared that it is important for them to honor the hardwork and dedication of the creatives.

Minister Samal Duggins shared a message of congratulations to Janelle Williams where he shared the significance of the honor she had brought to St Kitts and Nevus. The Minister called this victory a reminder that the country is full of talented individuals.

He was also proud to see that the talented people from across the federation are representing the country extremely well in the international platforms.

The Minister of Creative Economy was not the leader in the country to congratulate her on this achievement. Her team at the JaSalon also shared the glimpses of the celebration which followed the victory of the creative.

Vaughn Anslyn, a celebrated artist of St Kitts and Nevis also extended his congratulations to the young woman.
