St Kitts and Nevis is preparing for the Tropical Storm Erin which was formed on Monday at the Cabo Verde Islands. The point of original is just off the coast of Africa, which means that the Tropical Storm will reach near the Leeward Island around the weekend.

The St Kitts and Nevis Meteorological Department has shared that they are keeping a close eye on the progress of the Tropical Storm. According to the latest update shared by the department, the Tropical Storm will pass at the north of the Leeward Islands.

The department has clarified that they cannot foretell with accuracy, the true extent of the damage that will come to St Kitts and Nevis. He highlighted that the members of the community are being urged to make sure that they are prepared.

All the authorities of St Kitts and Nevis have been sharing preparedness tips for the people of the country. He highlighted that the members of the community have to make sure that they are prepared to face the Tropical Storm which is eventually expected to turn into a Hurricane. T

While the Tropical Storm is moving to the North of the Leeward Islands, the families of ST Kitts and Nevis has been urging the people of the island to prepare for any emergencies.

The authorities have confirmed that the Tropical Storm will be strengthening into a hurricane by the time that the phenomenon reaches Caribbean. The department has shared that the members of the community are being warmed well in advance.

The 2025 Hurricane Season is at its peak currently and the people of the Caribbean region have to make sure that their preparation is complete. He highlighted that the members of the community have to work with the leadership to get ready.
