Dr Terrance Drew has announced the 2025 edition of the • ‘Sound Your Future’ Summer Camp. The Prime Minister organizes this camp, which is open for youngsters aged between 10–18 every year. The aim of the programme is to make sure that the youngsters have a platform to hone their skills.
The summer camp will run from August 11 to August 15 and will be held from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The participants will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts who have been working in the field of music.
The aim of the summer camp is to give the youngsters an opportunity to explore the field and learn more about the various elements of music production. The participants will learn about:
- Songwriting
- Spoken Word
- Music Production
The youngsters will have the opportunity to learn about all these elements during interactive sessions with experts of the industry. The Prime Minister has confirmed that the four day summer camp will give the youngsters an opportunity to get valuable lessons.
The Prime Minister organizes this summer camp every year to give children an opportunity to explore the culture and learn more about creating music. During these four days, top experts in the field of music, spoken word, production and songwriting will help the participating children.
The children will have the opportunity to learn from top experts coming from both the communities of St Kitts and Nevis and around the Caribbean. The event will help the participants in learning to express themselves through music, words and more.
This event will also help in teaching the children ways of expressing themselves in a group setting with a help of different means of communication. The registration for the 2025 edition of the event is already open and limited spots are available at the 2025 edition of the summer camp.
The Sound Your Future Summer camp is organized under the patronage of Dr Terrance Drew and the Prime Minister also honours the participating children with awards.
