Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew delivered his best wishes on the occasion of Easter. The festival was celebrated on April 20, 2025 with the whole community in attendance.  

The celebration for Easter started with Good Friday, which was celebrated on April 18. The Prime Minister shared that it is important for the people to understand why the festival is celebrated.  

Easter, which is the day of the rising of Jesus Christ for the good of the people. The Prime Minister highlighted that the day is meant for renewing and reflecting on choices. 

The Prime Minister extended his sincerest best wishes to the communities who are celebration. On the occasion of Easter Sunday, he and his administration extended sincere and heartfelt wishes that Easter will bring joy and hope to the communities.  

The Easter celebrations were organized in several communities across St Kitts and Nevis. Understanding the significance of the celebration, PM Drew highlighted that people should celebrate safely.  

No matter where the celebration is hosted, it is the responsibility of the people to make sure that they are safe and lawful. He hoped that on the occasion of Easter, the community could unite and come together as one.  

Further, it is also crucial to make sure that the members of the community take care of each other. They must make sure that the celebration of the rising of Jesus Christ  should be marked by happiness and unity.  

The celebration should bring the communities together and make them strong. The Prime Minister ended his message calling for the blessings of the god on the people of his country.

The people of the country have also extended their sincere best wishes to the Prime Minister and family. The comment section of his Facebook account was full of comments from people from across the federation sending best wishes his way. 

They also extended Easter wishes to the members of the federal cabinet and other leaders.
