Kendrick Lamar won his first number one single in the UK with his hit song ‘Not Like Us’. The song was released nine months ago, is a diss track about his fellow rapper, Drake and has been streamed over 6 million times in the UK last week.

‘Not Like Us’ got more popularity with the rapper’s record-breaking Super Bowl half-time show earlier this month and became the show’s most talked track.

According to media reports, his performance was the Super Bowl’s most watched half-time show ever with 133.5 million views.

Moreover, Lamar’s fans started streaming his older songs, making ‘Luther’ and ‘All The Stars’ re-enter top five songs. He also won five Grammys this year, including Record of the Year and Song of the Year for his hit song, Not Like Us.

Kendrick Lamar’s achievements did not just end here as he also made history by becoming the first rapper to have three of his albums in the Billboard Top 10. The albums include his latest release GNX (at number 1), 2017’s DAMN (at number 9), and 2021’s Good Kid, M.A.A.D city (at number 10).
