St Kitts and Nevis: The government of St Kitts and Nevis has announced Ornique Maynard as the winner for ‘Name The Programme Competition,’ with the name “ASPIRE.”
The organising authority extended congratulations to Ornique Maynard for her outstanding contribution in naming the Government of St Kitts and Nevis’ new Financial Education and Savings Programme.
The winning name submission, ‘ASPIRE – Achieving Success through Personal Investment, Resources, and Education,’ perfectly captures the essence of the initiative that the Government has aimed for.
It is also to be noted that the winner, Ornique Maynard was awarded with the cash prize of $1000 EC by the authority.
Significantly, the government’s initiative with this programme is to empower the youth aged between 5 to 18, with the financial knowledge and tools that they need to build long-term wealth and actively participate in the nation’s economic growth.
This Financial Education and Savings Programme is being launched by the government of St Kitts and Nevis which will combine financial education with practical savings opportunities, marking a significant step forward.
With this new programme, the administration is aiming to nurture a generation that is financially savvy and ready to take control of their economic future.
Notably, this initiative will combine financial education delivered through schools and other institutions, with a savings account and shares in key local companies.
The prime goal of the authority is to enhance financial literacy and promote healthy savings habits among the youth of the country, encouraging them to build wealth and participate actively in the nation’s economic sector.
