The Minister of Sustainable Development said this transformation is aligned with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs). It is based on climate resilience and digital transformation, which aims at promoting self-reliance and fostering survival.

“The government has made a commitment to digitising government services and ensuring that every single child in St Kitts and Nevis has access to technology that allows them to be part of the global transformation. So, while we are pushing for climate resilience, we are also people-centring through digital transformation and social protection,” Dr Clarke said while presenting at a high-level panel on ‘Islands leading in climate action’.
