The Department of Education, Nevis reminded the general public to submit their application forms for the Prospective Teachers’ Course by Friday, May 24. The forms are available at the Department of Education at Marion Heights.
The interested applicants can visit the Education Department to collect the application packets from Monday to Friday, between 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. The candidates must possess the following qualifications to apply for the course:
- A minimum of five CSEC subjects at Proficiency grades I, II or III
- Or they must have a minimum of five GCE Ordinary level (O’level) passes
The subjects required for the Prospective Teachers’ Course include:
- English A
- Mathematics
- Social Studies or History or Geography
- Science (Integrated Science or Human and Social Biology or Agriculture or Pure Science)
- One (1) additional subject
