Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: The Deputy Prime Minister, Geoffrey Hanley congratulated Makalia Tucker for becoming the new Miss Labour Queen, from Constituency #3. Her grace and charisma shone bright on the stage.
The Miss Labour Queen Pageant 2024 was held on Saturday at Carnival Village. A night was full of grace and elegance. Hanley took to his official social media handle (Facebook) to extend his wishes for newly crowned Queen.
“It is with pleasure that extend congratulations to our new Miss Labour Queen, Ms Makalia Tucker, from Constituency #3. I know she will be a proud and excellent Labour Ambassador,” added DY PM of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Miss Labour Queen Tucker secured 860 points, leaving behind another three contestants named the following:
- Kiaunna Pemberton, C8 with 801 points – 1st Runner Up
- Samya Parris, C6 with 791 points – 2nd Runner Up
- Venesha De Souza, C4 with 782 points – 3rd Runner Up
Tucker has performed phenomenally well in the pageant and has brought something unique and special to the stage. Her hard work and dedication enabled her to achieve this title. She has won BEST Motivational Speech, BEST Performing Talent, and BEST Evening Wear on a night of a very high-quality Queen Pageant.
Her performance was lauded by various ministers of the twin-island nation such as:
- Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew extended his congratulations to Miss Labour Tucker for achieving heights of success and making the people of the nation proud of herself.
- The Minister of Public Infrastructure, Konris Maynard appreciated Tucker for her exceptional victory in Miss Labour Queen Pageant 2024. He has lauded the Chaperone Team, led by the indomitable Jessica Jeffers for making the event memorable.
- The Minister for Tourism, Marsha Henderson honoured newly crowned Queen for her outstanding performance and participation in the pageant.
Additionally, the people of the nation also took to their Facebook handle to extend their wishes for Tucker for securing a title of Queen. Some of the comments read as,
