St Kitts and Nevis is gearing up to host the first block of games 2024 in the upcoming West Indies Cricket Championship from February 7 to 24. These matches will take place at Warner Park and the Conaree Cricket Centre.
As per the information, the other host country for the Cricket Championship is Jamaica, and the matches will be played at three venues, including Sabina Park, Kensington Cricket Club, and Chedwin Park.
This year, eight teams from the Caribbean countries are participating in the match. These include Barbados Pride, Combined Campus and Colleges, Guyana Harpy Eagles, Jamaica Scorpions, Leeward Islands Hurricanes, Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, West Indies Academy and Windward Volcanoes.
Round 1 of the Championship will be held at the Jamaica Scorpians Vs Windward Islands Volcanoes at Sabina Park, Jamaica, from February 7 to 10, 2024.
Meanwhile, the St Kitts and Nevis will host two matches simultaneously on Wednesday at Warner Park and Conaree Cricket Centre, St Kitts.
At the first match, West Indies Academy will face the Leeward Islands on Wednesday (February 7) at Warner Park, St Kitts and Nevis, for the CWI 4-day Tournament.
Along with the Guyana Harpy Eagles taking on against Trinidad and Tobago Red Force at Conaree Cricket Centre in St Kitts.
Earlier on Tuesday, the nations revealed their team players for defending their nations in the first round of the West Indies Cricket Championship.
In the Guyana Herpy Eagles, The 13-man squad will be led for the first time by opening batsman Kelvon Anderson, with his fellow opener Matthew Nandu as his deputy.
