In the twin islands, a robbery and shoot-out incident is currently being investigated by the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force.
The (RSCNPF) also apprehended Kei Murderwin and charged him with Murder and Jehu Kelly of Rawlins Ground for Robbery.
Keith Godwin Charged With Murder.
Keith Godwin, a 36-year-old man from Prickley Pear Alley, St Kitts, has been charged with the grave offence of murder.
The crime occurred on February 1st, 2023, on Cayon Street, with Sylvester Crossley as the victim. Godwin was previously charged on June 10th, 2023, and formal charges were filed on December 21st, 2023. The incident occurred on June 6th, 2023.
Additional robbery charges laid in St. Paul
Police added a robbery charge against 24-year-old Jehu Kelly and 29-year-old Leshon ‘Big Worm’ Freeman for the same crime.
Kelly was previously charged with five counts of Robbery, four of which were related to the incident in St Paul’s and one related to a robbery in Old Road, St Kitts.
Freeman was also charged with four counts of Robbery in connection to the same incident. The additional charges were filed on December 22nd, 2023, at the Basseterre Police.
Suspected shooting death in Nevis under police investigation
Police are investigating the suspected shooting which led to the death of Marieus Webbe in Brown Hill, Nevis, on December 21st, 2023.
The incident transpired when an unresponsive male victim was found in an animal cell. Webbe was identified and pronounced dead at the scene.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected evidence.
The public will be kept updated on the investigation, and the RSCNPF extends condolences to those affected.
Nevis armed Robbery under police investigation
An armed robbery investigation is underway. It occurred in Nevis on December 22nd, 2023, involving a masked male attacker who stole money from a business and fired two rounds of ammunition.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force processed the scene and collected items of evidential value. The public will be kept informed of the investigation as it develops.
