The police officials of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) have shared a post on their social media account to share that they recovered a rifle scope, namely one (1) Tasco Red Dot Sight attachment. The Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) was responsible for recovering the weapons on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
The recovery was made in the Shadwell area of St. Kitts. The contraband was found during the search of an empty lot. The police force of St Kitts and Nevis has remained highly vigilant for the establishment and retaining of the peace of the country. The country has faced an increased amount of criminal incidents in the federation.
At the time of the raid by the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit (CSU). After the raid, the Police force recovered some evidential items into Police custody.
The officials of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force has clarified through their social media account that no one has been held accountable for the find.
The Police continue to encourage citizens and residents who may have information about criminal activity to call the nearest Police station or the Crime Stoppers Hotline, 707.
The police force has been making several diligent efforts to reduce criminal elements in the federation. The Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) has taken up the initiative to engage the youth of the country in the various community policing initiatives.
