The organizers of the Culturama Festival have shared the list of contestants for the 2023 edition of the Miss Culture Swimwear Pageant. Miss Culture Swimwear Pageants is among the most anticipated events of the Culturama Festival Itinerary. The following five contestants will be competing for the title Of Miss Culture Swimwear Queen

Contestant No. 1, 2023 Miss Culture Swimwear Contest, Shakyra Williams

Sponsor: Nevis Housing & Land Development Corporation (NHLDC)

Hobby: Modeling

Career Goal: Shakyra believes she has only scratched the surface of her true potential and is embarking on a lifelong adventure to discover her purpose. She is committed to inspiring, leading and thriving and as a tourism ambassador in the hospitality industry, she practices these qualities daily.

Greatest Achievement(s): Shakyra lives by the motto, “Once you have accepted your flaws, no one can use them against you.” Her greatest achievements to date are gracefully and fearlessly facing life’s challenges, finding balance and waking up each day ready to conquer new heights.

Contestant No. 2, 2023 Miss Culture Swimwear Contest, Nevilla Douglas

Embodying the mantra, “If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal,” allow us to introduce the remarkable Nevilla Douglas, affectionately known as Kristal, hailing from the vibrant community of St. Paul. Born on March 24th, 2002, she is the youngest child of her loving parents.

A true sports enthusiast, Nevilla’s passion lies in various sports, including Netball, Track and Field, Football, Volleyball and Cricket. She strongly believes that an active lifestyle fosters balance and contributes to the holistic development of every young individual.

In her educational pursuits, Nevilla discovered her love for the Sciences, particularly Chemistry, paving the way for her aspirations of acquiring the highest degree possible in the field of Chemical Engineering.

At the young age of 22, Tyanna accomplished an extraordinary feat by establishing her modelling agency, aptly named Model Maker. Hailing from Ramsbury, Atalia Newton, a budding fashion enthusiast and aspiring entrepreneur, was born on December 25th, 2002. From a young age, Atalia displayed a passion for creativity and fashion, which eventually led her to embark on an exciting journey in the world of design and entrepreneurship.

With a penchant for sewing and an eye for detail, Atalia found solace and joy in creating unique garments. Her love for fashion extended beyond mere observation, as she actively participated in tailoring and designing clothes. While at Charlestown Secondary School, she curated a line for a fashion show titled “Fame,” showcasing her meticulously crafted designs.
