The police officials of the Royal Saint Christopher and Nevis Police Force have arrested Akeem Sage, a resident of Central Fiennes Avenue in Saint George Basseterre, McKnight. The resident of the Saint George area was charged with the offence of Robbery. The culprit committed the crime in question on Saturday, April 29, 2023. The police authorities found several counts of weapons in his home.
The Royal Saint Christopher and Nevis Police Force procured a search warrant to investigate the crime allegation after he was found on suspicion of a crime. The country’s law enforcement authorities received the warrant to search the home of Akeem Sage on Friday, May 12. The culprit lives in Central Fiennes Avenue Following this, the Royal St. Christophsearch er and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force (SKNDF) were allowed to search the house of Akeem Sage and their immediate surroundings.
With the help of the warrant, the authority got the opportunity to search the house and its immediate surroundings for weapons, illegal drugs, and other items suspected of being used in the commission of a crime.
After the RSCNPF and SKNDF executed the search on the house of the culprit, they found one (1) Smith & Wesson revolver handgun. The weapon barrel contained five (5) .32 calibre rounds of live ammunition. Following this, the country’s law enforcement agencies extended the search to an abandoned building adjacent to Sage’s home. They hoped to discover more items to convict him.
This extended search resulted in finding one (1) “Jansport” backpack along with a mask and other articles of clothing. The Crime Scene Unit of the RSCNPF collected these and other evidential items. The officials of St Christopher and Nevis Police Force have shared some details of the criminal investigation involving the robbery charges of Central Fiennes Avenue resident Akeem Sage.
The officials have promised that they will update the general public regarding the investigation as and when new information emerges during the progress of the investigation. Akeem Sage of Central Fiennes Avenue is currently held under the custody of RSCNPF.
