The Ministry of Agriculture and the marine resources hosted a Customer Service Training for its staff on Thursday, April 13, 2023. Through this training workshop, the Department of Agriculture team will receive essential training in several aspects, such as workplace etiquette, customer interactions and conflict resolution.
The Agriculture department hosted the event at the Large Conference Room, DOA Grounds La Guerite, Basseterre. The event aimed to promote and develop the personalities of all the staff members of the Department. The government of St Kitts and Nevis is highly dedicated to the cause of promoting the all-around development of the country’s people.
St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) led government of St Kitts, and Nevis has hosted several workshops for the staff of the various governmental departments. The Department of Agriculture mandated workshop serves as the interactive session, where the staff had the chance to participate in several informative, practical exercises apart from workplace etiquette, customer interactions and conflict resolution.
The practical exercises arranged by the Department of Agriculture aimed to emphasize the training concepts. Accordingly, Earla Allen facilitated an engaging, informative, interactive session which participants thoroughly enjoyed. As per the update shared by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resouces, a total of twenty-two staff from various Units, including Plant Quarantine, Administration, Land Management, Public Market, Veterinary Services, Abattoir, Fahies Outreach Centre, Tabernacle Outreach Centre, Crops Division, Livestock Division, Agro-processing Unit and the Marketing Unit participated in the workshop arranged by the St Kitts Department of Agriculture.
The project aimed at the development of the personality of the government staff. Through the workshop, the team got the chance to learn several new things which would help them further their career. Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resouces shared several images from the workshop, which provided adaquate glimpses of the proceedings of the event.
