The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, has extended his greetings to Dr Denzil Douglas, the former Prime Minister and predecessor in St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party leader on the completion of thirty-four years of his political career. The senior Minister has served the country in several positions.
On March 21, Dr Douglas started his career as a politician and parliamentary representative of Constituency #6, Newton Ground, St. Paul’s, Dieppe Bay, Parson’s, Lavington/Saddlers and Harrises. He has also served as the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and held the office for the longest tenure of 10 years (1995-2005).
The incumbent Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, applauded Dr Douglas for his dedicated Service to the Nation in various capacities. Currently, the political leader and former leader of the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party serves as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International trade, commerce and industry in the incumbent government.
