The Minister of foreign affairs in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas, recently announced through his social media the inaugural flight made by Inter Caribbean Airways. The Inter Caribbean Airways and the government of St Kitts and Nevis have entered a collaboration, under which the flights from the airline will stop at the Robert L Bradshaw Airport.
The first flight, from the Inter Caribbean Airways under the initiative, will land in St Kitts and Nevis at the Robert L Bradshaw airport on Sunday, March 12, 2023. The Minister of foreign affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, shared that the government will organize a welcoming ceremony for the inaugural flight.
The Minister further informed the people of St Kitts and Nevis that the Minister of tourism, Marsha Henderson, the Prime Minister of the country, Dr Terrance Drew, Airline Officials and other Government and Non-Government Officials would be present at the Kayan Lounge to welcome InterCaribbean Airways.
Dr Denzil Douglas shared that the welcome ceremony will be held at the Kayan Lounge of the Robert L Bradshaw International Airport. He further noted that the flights from Inter Caribbean headlines would come to St Kitts three times a week from Barbados. The days are Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
The initiative taken by the Minister of tourism will serve as an opportunity to boost tourism in the country. The flights from Intercaribbean will serve as a better connection for travellers seeking to travel from one part of the region to another. All the leaders of St Kitts and Nevis, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, have taken the opportunity to express their excitement at the start of the initiative.
