The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, hosted a sit-down meeting with the director of MSR Media, Phillipe Martinez and the British actress Elizabeth Hurley.
Actress Elizabeth Hurley is an internationally renowned British actress who has appeared in several films, including Austin Powers, Serving Sara, and Then Came You. She has been a model for the cosmetic company Estée Lauder since she was 29.
During the Meeting, Prime Minister Terrance Drew, the director and the actress, updated the Prime Minister regarding the ongoing production of the feature film in the Federation.
In the meeting held among Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, Elizabeth Hurley and Martinez on Sunday, October 30, 2022, the representatives of MSR Media talked about the locals of St Kitts.
During the meeting, the director working with the London-based production house MSR Media credited the nationals of St Kitts and Nevis employed with their production team during the filming process. He also applauded the newly created Ministry of the Creative Economy,
According to Phillipe Martinez, they will rely on the (ministry of) creative economy in the future in terms of policy directives concerning collaborating with his production team and the talent pool in the nation.

MSR has been working with the twin islands of St Kitts and Nevis for a long time. In Nevis alone, the production house started filming its seventh film in August 2022.
In 2021, The UK-based MSR Media signed a multi-film contract with the Federation, under which the media house will use various scenic and beautiful locations across the twin islands.
The contract between the UK-Based production company and the government of St Kitts and Nevis has helped diversify the economies on both islands.
So far, the production house projects have provided many employment opportunities to the local nationals and residents of St Kitts and Nevis.
